Extended a factory to create a new 700m2 hygiene production red zone area plus 300m2 mezzanine floor. Following our ongoing relationship and trust in our health and safety systems, construction was completed within a ring fence rather than a Permit to Work System.
Challenges included working around existing structures to fit steelwork, coordinating with separate contractors for mechanical and equipment install. This is in addition to existing factory operations and enabling public factory tours.
High-level coordination, programming and complex sequencing was combined with a solution-orientated and flexible methodology to complete the project with minimum disruption.
