Ōpaheke Sportsfields is a new playing field for which we were engaged to construct the changerooms and toilet block.
The 380m2 changerooms and toilet block is predominantly architectural precast panels with patterned perforated decorative screens. The centre section of the change block is constructed with a tuckshop and space for teams to socialise.
As part of our build we constructed a lift pit, as the plan for the future of the building is to lift the roof in the centre section of the building and construct another level making space for the clubrooms.
A unique part of the overall build is that the roof is constructed from 12mm thick steel plate with laser cut feature panels over the entrance.
