St Peter’s College for Boys has served the Catholic community since 1939 and its campus is a historic and distinctive part of the Auckland landscape.
Cassidy Construction were contracted to carry out a complete refurbishment and seismic upgrade of the three-storey Science Block which dates to the 1960’s.
We commenced the project with a partial demolition and strip, followed by foundation and seismic upgrades. Followed by installation of a new roof, façade, and windows, including water damage remedial work.
A general passive fire upgrade was carried out throughout the building during the internal fitout. New mechanical, plumbing, gas & electrics was installed and the classrooms were finally completed with new work benches and classroom furniture, ready for student use once again.
