The building is a three-storey structure with approximately 12 learning spaces in total, each floor being around 650m2
What makes this build interesting is that the primary structure is all in-situ concrete, with the ground floor also suspended off the ground and sitting on 30m long steel driven piles.
Before commencing construction we needed to build a 200m haul road across a field to access the site. To add to that, the field and the edge of our site were formerly a landfill and we had the hazard of methane gas leaching from the ground at our build location.
This is a 14-month duration project taking us through to May 2021.
