From base build to fit-out, Cassidy Construction added value at every stage of the development of this flagship radiology clinic for Auckland Radiology Group (ARG). We were engaged by the landowner, Dilworth Trust Board, as ECI contractor on the base build, then integrated ARG’s complex high-end medical fit-out into one cohesive programme.
The five-level base build features 16m timber piles, a steel and concrete superstructure, pre-cast panel cladding and a curtain wall façade. The fit-out includes light steel framing and all flooring, ceilings, wall linings and finishes. Our team also collaborated closely with ARG to deliver specialised modality rooms to house their advanced imaging technology, including facilitating installation of high-tech equipment while the building was under construction.
Our engineers and building information modelling (BIM) team worked closely with consultants throughout the project, using three-dimensional modelling to assist with detailed shop drawings, service coordination and methodology.
Having the entire project completed by one contractor, under the same project manager, provided continuity and certainty and delivered efficiencies for the benefit of our clients.
