Having successfully completed the base build of this landmark five-level building at 99 Remuera Road for the landowner, we integrated a complex high-end interior fit-out on behalf of the tenant, Auckland Radiology Group (ARG). The medical-grade fit-out, which included light steel framing and all flooring, ceilings, wall linings and finishes, required exceptional attention to detail. Our team collaborated closely with ARG and specialists to deliver purpose-designed modality rooms and install advanced medical imaging equipment while the building was still under construction.
Our in-house building information modelling (BIM) capability played a key role throughout planning, delivery and documentation. Our BIM team detailed everything from floor penetrations to wall and cabinetry types, and fully coordinated all services to give our production team a powerful edge. The project’s as-built requirements required our BIM coordinator to model services to LOD 350 in three dimensions.
A standout innovation was our use of robotics to complete precise layout markings across three levels in just three days, with an impressive ±3mm tolerance.
Having the base build and fit-out managed by one project team ensured consistency, safety and streamlined delivery from start to finish, adding value at every stage. We are proud to have delivered an awesome building that will last the test of time.
Here’s what Andrew Lamb from ARG had to say about working with the Cassidy team:
“A great team and a real pleasure to work with. These are complex projects but the team grabbed it fully with both hands and sprinted across the finish line. Something for you all to be proud of. Outstanding results. Well done all!”
