The multi-roomed childcare facility was bespoke designed by award-winning Collingridge and Smith Architects to cater for 120 preschoolers. The generous spaces have five-metre-high raked ceilings, large windows, and doors leading out to a covered hardwood deck. Dark corrugate feature panels and polished concrete floors give the rooms a calming, natural feel.
Internal wall coverings of printed vinyl sheet match the external profiled metal cladding in a printed woodgrain finish, creating a seamless visual connection between the indoor and outdoor spaces.
To help get the project underway, our pricing team worked closely with the client to identify potential cost savings in design and materials.
The building, grounds and carpark were completed in time a new beginning for the children in 2020.
