This project began as an architectural, 600m2 warehouse and showroom on a steeply sloping site in Grey Lynn. As the project progressed, the architectural finishes and standard resulted in the end use being a large showroom with café.
The façade involved intricate formwork for complex 3-dimensional shapes with pours over 6m high. The walls are weatherboard shaped and tinted precast panels that also act as retaining walls.
The remaining construction scope consisted of structural steel, Coloursteel roofing, polished concrete floor finishes, plywood and plasterboard linings, Axon cement board panelling along with concrete pavements.
