This project began as a 600m2 architecturally designed warehouse and showroom on a steeply sloping site in Grey Lynn, but the high standard of architectural finishes resulted in the end use being a large designer showroom with a café.
The façade involved intricate formwork for complex three-dimensional shapes with pours over 6m high. The walls are weatherboard-shaped, tinted precast panels that also act as retaining walls.
The remaining construction scope consisted of structural steel, Coloursteel roofing, polished concrete floor finishes, plywood and plasterboard linings, Axon cement board panelling and concrete pavements.
