We are making solid progress with this education construction project in West Auckland for a repeat client, the Catholic Diocese of Auckland.
The new, purpose-designed gymnasium we’re building for Liston College in Henderson provides a dynamic, engaging environment for learning and sport, including a double-court sports floor, modern teaching spaces, a weights room, changing rooms, a storage area and an administration block.
Our team began on-site in September 2025, and by December we had stripped and filled the site, augured and poured 68 piles ranging in depth from 9 to 14 metres, and erected the precast columns. By February the foundations and slab pours were complete, ready for precast and structural steel installation. By May, the mid‑floor had been poured and carpentry framing was underway for the exterior walls and roof. Up next was warm roof installation, followed by interior framing, exterior cladding and first‑fix works.
We are now closed in and completing the interior fit-out of the gym, with completion scheduled for mid-October 2026.
We’re working closely with our client, consultants and the school community to ensure safety and minimise disruption throughout our programme.
